Making Frenchmans Bay Landfill Site Fit for Recreation and Habitation
Randwick City Council engaged Geo-Logix to validate environmental remediation works on the old landfill site at Frenchmans Bay at La Perouse to ensure it would be suitable for a coastal walkway. One parcel of land within the site was going to be returned to the Local Aboriginal Land Council and Geo-Logix had to validate its remediation to residential standards.
Geo-Logix’s responsibilities included reviewing assessments, soil sampling and analysis, and ensuring contouring, landscaping and capping were carried out according to design specifications.
