Geo-Logix Sponsors Surf Rowing

Geo-Logix is a proud sponsor of surfboat equipment for the Newport Reserve boat crew – the “Sea Cucumbers”. Crew member and Geo-Logix employee, Tim Gunns, along with the rest of the crew, are all experienced volunteer surf lifesavers but only started racing together this summer. Consistent training three to four times a week has ensured the Sea Cucumbers are a competitive force in the extensive competition calendar and are currently at third place in the Northern Beaches Branch Championships. They are also strong contenders for the upcoming State and National titles and we wish them well for these events.

Surf lifesaving is recognised as one of the most effective surf rescue services in the world and a prominent feature of our northern beaches lifestyle. Surf sports build surf lifesaving skills, motivation and fitness and we are very pleased to support such a dedicated bunch of athletes who make such a difference to our community.
