New Brisbane Office for Geo-Logix

Geo-Logix has expanded its Queensland services and established a Brisbane office in response to increased auditing work and contamination assessments for Queensland land developments.

New rules governing the development of contaminated sites in Queensland now require a compliance permit when sites are moving to a more sensitive land use. This covers land that is being developed for residential uses as well as commercial developments that incorporate an underground facility such as a car park, workshop, storage room, etc.

Compliance permits (or CLIDs) can only be issued by an Environmental Auditor who is accredited under the Environmental Protection Act (Qld EPA Act, 1994).
