Water sampling for dam de-watering

Geo-Logix undertook water sampling in an old dam using a Van Dorn column snap sampler. Van Dorn samplers can be used in shallow or deep waters and are ideal for sampling various stratification levels.

Geo-Logix has been asked to determine the best disposal options for the dam water. To determine whether any contaminants are present, Geo-Logix project scientist, Tim Gunns collected multiple water samples for lab analysis. The dam is expected to be de-watered to make way for a proposed shopping centre.
