Geo-Logix has expanded its Queensland services and established a Brisbane office in response to increased auditing work and contamination assessments for Queensland land developments.
New rules governing the development of contaminated sites in Queensland now require a compliance permit when sites are moving to a more sensitive land use. This covers land that is being developed for residential uses as well as commercial developments that incorporate an underground facility such as a car park, workshop, storage room, etc.
Compliance permits (or CLIDs) can only be issued by an Environmental Auditor who is accredited under the Environmental Protection Act (Qld EPA Act, 1994). Geo-Logix Director and Land Contamination Principal, David Gregory, is an approved Queensland Contaminated Land Auditor. Contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org regarding Geo-Logix’s audit services.
